VideoPad Video Editor is video-editing software that is easy to use. Any user with some familiarity with the computer and video will be able to figure out what to do. No significant training time needs to be set aside. Controls are quite intuitive and make it very simple to create a polished movie quickly. Video clips that you intend to edit could be simply dragged and dropped into the interface. The biggest feature is that it is free. That has no meaning if the features are not right. But this tool presents you with a bunch of intuitive features that help making of interesting video editing. Effects and transitions could be applied, video speed adjusted and host of other features applied. This tool is free only for personal use; commercial use will require a registration fee to be paid.
It is possible to capture video through camcorders and then edit them into a full-featured movie through this tool. DV camcorder, VHS, webcams are some sources you could use. Clips in formats like AVI, WMV, MPV, and DivX, etc. More than some 50 visual and transition effects are available for adding to the video clips. The output could be burnt onto DVDs. You could publish them on video sharing sites too. Creating movies for the devices is no problem either. The duration of transitions could be customized. Captions and movie credits could be created with text overlays. Green screen techniques could be easily applied too. The video editing is supported by capable audio manipulation tools. This is a very good tool.
